General Conference

I love General Conference. I love two days spent with my family!! I love listening to the prophet, apostles and others who are asked to speak and sing. I love creating memories and relaxing. Justin had to work on Saturday morning but that really is nothing new for us. He built a tent with the girls friday night so they slept in it all weekend. My girls have a mind like their dad. "How can I make this better?" The girls build hammocks in their tent tying their blankets on the easel and chairs. I made notebooks again this year which was really great for helping them focus their attention. During the priesthood session it is our tradition to make cinnamon rolls, this year we had Mackay Whiting over so that his dad could go too. The girls convinced me to do our science experiments with Mackay. We decided to do the milk with food coloring and the corn startch with water. The girls can spend hours with these.

Allie's School Carnival

Allie and Aubrie decided to use their birthday money to buy tickets for Allie's school carnival. They always have such a fun time together. I am so glad they are close to each other. They truly are great sisters who look out for each other. Allie and Aubrie eating their sno cones.

Allie's Dinner

If her Baptism wasn't enough, we had Walmart Pizza and Ice Cream for dinner. I went to the General Women's Broadcast and Allie and Aubrie watch a movie while Justin study.

Allie's Baptism Day

Allie's baptism day was a beautiful day. It was a neat experience and a little emotional realizing that my baby is growing up! Allie was baptized on her birthday which I think years to come will be a neat thing. Here are some pictures of the great family and friends who came to support and love Allie. The Harrison's Grandpa and Grandma Tranchell The Barton's Allie and Millie Grams and Allie. Grams was able to come up from Arizona for the baptism. Allie asked Grams to say the opening prayer for the baptism. Papa and Allie Maama and her Seeta-pie Digga, B Frassy, and Allie. Tine, Baby Lady, Millie and Xander Ellee and Allie Barton Cousins Brett and Aubrie Karalee and Brett Laralynn and Stephen Allie and the Tranchells Justin suggested we take a picture of all the women together. As I have since looked at this picture I have realized the incredible love and admiration I have for each one of these women. I am so grateful for each of their roles in Allie's life. I know she has learned and will continue to learn life's great lessons from each one of them. Allie with her Aunt's. We deeply missed Tiff in this picture. Glad we get to see them soon!! We had breakfast back at our house. We had eggs, hashbrowns, ham, fruit platters, donuts, cinnamon rolls and muffins. Milk, OJ and Chocolate Milk helped wash everything down. Thanks to all who made this part really easy for me. For the centerpieces, I had Allie help me make Chocolate Daisy Suckers. It was fun to create with her. We are so proud of you Allie!!

Allie's Baptism Photo Shoot

I asked my dear sister to do a photo shoot of Allie in her baptism dress. I wanted to do an invitation with pictures of Allie in her dress. I had no idea that we would get so many great one!! Thank you Karalee!!!!

Aubrie's First Day of Preschool

Aubrie preschool started on September 22nd. She was so ready. Since Justin and Allie has been in school since August it was a long month waiting for her. We were able to quailify for Mountainland Headstart this year. It has been a good experience so far. On the first day of school, they invite the parents to come and stay to see what will be happening. It was fun to see how independent Aubrie is. When we left I asked her if she liked her new preschool. She said, Yeah, except you have to wash your hands a lot. It was pretty cute! Aubrie painting a picture on her first day of preschool. During recess, Aubrie managed to have two different boys pull her in the wagon. I am sure it wasn't an easy pull. She already knows how to get a boy to take her where she wants to go.

Sunday Picnic

During the month of September it felt like we were going and going that one Sunday I said to the girls. Let's go have a picnic for dinner. Justin made chicken bones. I love family time!!
