A DEEP THOUGHT

What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail? I read this quote a couple of days ago at work. I've thought a lot about it lately, wondering what would I do? Would I go back to school and have a career, would I have more children, would I start that diet and really succeed, would I run a marathon, would I regularly schedule date night, would I try that really good recipe in my favorite cookbook, would I start up my own business, would I wake up every morning and jump for joy? Because I knew no matter what I wouldn't fail! It been interesting to ponder this question. What would I really do if I knew I couldn't fail. I wonder how often we don't do things because of the fear of failure. Since Justin decided to quit work and go back to school I feel like we have taken some big steps into the darkness, but I have never felt fearful about his decision. It is a good one and I feel like he is on a great path for his future. I see so much greatness in his goal and feel like he doing what he is suppose to do. But, I have had other fears about how I was going to provide for our family physically, emotionally and spiritually. I've wondered how to manage both a job and a family. I've wonder what the best path for me is. I wondered a lot! I haven't come to any good answers yet. I just try each day to get up and to jump for joy to remember our Heavenly Father is watching over me and truly wants the best for me and my family. Strange post, I know but it's what I've been thinking about! SO for those who feel the desire to post, I would love to know What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?

The Great Pumpkin

The Great Pumpkin paid us a visit on Halloween morning. He decorate the girls room and the hallway with Spiders. He left the girls a cup and plate for Halloween breakfast. Justin cooked us pumpkin eggs with body parts and pumpcakes. The girls got to create another Jack-o-Lantern with the pumpcake. The Great Pumpkin also colored our milk orange. What a fun morning. I love this "MAGICAL" age and the ability to create and pretend with my family.

Trick or Treat

This year Allie wanted to be Hannah Montana and Aubrie wanted to be Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, a ballerina and a barbie. Everyday she would say something different. A few days before I finally said, you have to decided now. So she decided to be Sleeping Beauty. I started looking for a costume for Allie in September but most local stores didn't have any. I went on line and found costumes for $30.00 - $50.00 plus shipping. I just couldn't justify it so I began creating it with what we had. I was at Walmart one day and found the levi skirt for $3.00 and the wig and hat for $5.00. We had a jacket and leggings so I just needed a shirt. Karalee offered to sew her shirt and I think it completed the outfit. We found her some boots at DI for $3.00. Not a bad price for a SUPERSTAR!!! She played the part well. Lisa and I have went Trick or Treating the last three years around her neighborhood. It is so much fun. We walk around and go to each door and run to the next door. It reminds so much of when I was little and we would go around our neighborhood. The girls have a ball going with their cousins. This year Aunt Karalee went with us too. It was fun to have her with us. I had a BYU shirt on and Lisa had red shirt so Tyler cut out a U so we could be a BYU fan and a Ute fan, what fun costumes. It was so fun to see what costumes people created. There was definately a fun energy around her neighborhood. We also stopped by and saw Maama. Tine and her family were there. It was fun to take pictures with them.
