Reaching new heights

Justin joined the exercise science club at school. (1st new height) The exercise science club went to the Quarry and got in for 1/2 price. Those in the club were invited to bring a friend or family. It was a reality check to realize that we were the only family and it was fun to watch a bunch of 20 years old talk about what they are going to do in the future. I hope all of their dreams come true and well before they reach the age of 32. So happy we are on this journey! The girls had a ball. Allie Justin Aubrie

Valentine's

This year CUPID came by and visited the girls but Cupid's assistant forgot to take a picture. Cupid left a red/white jump rope in the shape of a heart, Dora sock's for Aubrie and Hannah Montana sock's for Allie. and a little chocolate heart for both of them. For our Valentine's Dinner, Allie made place mats and hearts that she put around our cups. It was so fun to see Allie's creativity come out. I hope that she loves holidays as much as her mom and her Grandma did. I am so blessed to have been taught by a wonderful mom how to make holidays fun for her loved ones. A legacy I will always cherish. Aubrie learned a Valentine poem at preschool, sure hope she feels this way about Billy when she is 16.

Science Experiment

Allie is so fascinated with science experiments. She came home from school and asked if we have any white corn flour. Told her no. She said No, mom it's white and it's called corn but it looks like flour and you can add water to it and food coloring and you put it in your hands and it turns into a liquid and than it goes back to a solid when you don't touch it. (Not kidding, I think she said it in one breath.) The whole time I am trying to figure out what flour begins with corn. Then the light bulb went off and sure enough I said to her, Corn Starch. You would have thought it was Christmas Morning. She said can we do it, can we make the experiment. So I found the recipe on line and the girls had a ball making liquid from a solid. I don't know why I even buy them toys. All they need is household products and they are content for hours.
