Hot Air Balloons

When we got there I took the girls on the field and watched a balloon stand up. They start off with the basket on it's side. Then they turn it up right. Allie and Aubrie were so close to it that you could feel the heat, it was really awesome! After they get all the balloons ready to launch they have everyone stand behind the pink line. We were aware of this rule so we were able to be right at the front so the girls could see really well. After the balloons are launched they put an X on the ground and the balloons try to circle back around the field and throw a bean bag from their balloon. The closest one to the X gets so many points. They also have big balloons that they try to grab and pop. I didn't realized how much fun it really was to watch the balloon launch.
