Just Singing in the Rain

A couple of weeks ago, while at church on Sunday, we had amazing down pour. There is a rain storm and then there are RAIN STORMS. This was one of those RAIN STORMS. The girls were so excited they know what RAIN STORMS create. PUDDLES!! Justin and I have taught are girls what every good parent would teach their children to stay out of the puddles! LOL. The problem is mom and dad haven't quite learned that lesson. We've also tried to teach our children to stand up for themselves. So when you mix these two lessons together it is nothing more than a day full of laughter! Justin attacking puddles. Because of Justin's height he has such great advantages over us girls. He walked by the tree with Allie and reached his hand up and then took off. Water sprinkled all over Allie. She loved every minute of it and kept begging for more. Aubrie trying to defend herself. My recollection of being taught how to puddle jump correctly was on the movie Singin in the Rain. When Gene Kelly dances in the gutter. I've always enjoy dancing back and forth from the gutter to the sidewalk. I guess someone esle does too. Justin took the camera so I could puddle jump too! We decided to take a nice walk around the block. These were amazing puddles that were found. We got around by Maama's House and the girls begged us to let them go ask Maama to join us. I didn't know whether she would but I let them ask. Maama agreed. Thank you Maama! A memory that will last a lifetime! (And not only because I have it on video) Aubrie, Allie, Maama and Justin making a train! The nice walk is over and the final picture before the "Sheriff" (Sister Morgan)comes out! We've seen the movie, we know it is time to go home!
