In kindergarten, they had a circus. At the circus was a store. Each child was asked to make 10 items from things at home such as a beautiful picture, a pipe cleaner ring, a painted rock etc. Each child was to label how much there item would cost ranging from a penny to five cents. Each child was to bring only 25 pennies so they could buy each others "Homemade Item". Allie and I discussed what she could make we came up with two bookmarks, a beaded necklace, a beaded braclet, a beaded ring, and 5 popsicle stick people. They turned out pretty cute even if the picture didn't quite turn out. After we took Allie to school, Aubrie begged me to help her make popsicle stick people. We made 4 of them. We called them Sam, Sally, Mike and Rose. We used them for school time. Rose had a flower in her hand, Sally had a heart, Sam had a flag and Mike had a star. She has played with them so much. We even took them to Arizona with us so she could play with them in the van. Unfortunately we lost Sam's flag and can't seem to find Rose. Hopefully they will turn up! They have become part of Aubrie's little family.
